Spacious double storey beach house holiday retreat, 1.5 hours drive from Perth, set amongst tall trees, backing onto a national park. Ten minutes walk to Myalup beach. Woodfired Pizza oven in extensively shaded outdoor area. Pet friendly (though not fenced). 30+km 4wd beach access and great fishing and swimming. Sleeps 9 guests, two large family room areas, fully equipped kitchen, laundry, outdoor areas with BBQ. All linen and towels provided. Books, CDs and games for rainy/relaxing days. Three bedrooms - two with queen size beds, and a large ‘kids bedroom’ upstairs with one double and 3 single beds; laundry with washer and dryer. Plenty of space for parking. Please note the home has no TV or Wifi. The idea is to unplug and relax – but there is good mobile reception. Myalup is a small community only 90 minutes drive from Perth and is a popular holiday destination because of its beautiful sandy beach for swimming, body boarding and excellent beach fishing. 30 mins drive to Bunbury and 15 min drive to Harvey. You can also access the beach by 4WD to the north of the swimming beach all the way up to Preston Beach. Both Harvey and Binningup have well known golf courses. There are plenty of wineries, particularly in the Ferguson Valley. A local gastro-pub is within 15 mins drive. Closest major shopping centers are Harvey; Eaton and Treendale (all about 15-20 mins by car) Ottery Park has a fantastic playground for the kids to burn off some energy, tennis and basketball courts and BBQ facilities for a relaxing picnic. Myalup’s general store sells some groceries, ice, bait, a limited stock of alcohol and has takeaway food. So grab your bathers, fishing rods or even just a good book and come and enjoy the slower pace beautiful Myalup is all about. You’ll love it. Beautiful Myalup beach, Crooked Carrot Café nearby. Close to wineries and south west Tourist attractions including Dolphin Discovery Centre in Bunbury. Golf courses in Binningup, Harvey and Australind.
