Vintage room (2) in Joglo House By @penggemarlawas

This's the ethnic Javanese wooden house, called Joglo. We combine the real vintage house with modern touch, where you can enjoy a traditional Javanese ambiance with the modern comfort in the city center. You can take vintage/ethnic photos, we provide some traditional outfits. Pre wed photo sessions also welcome. You book a room (approx 16sqm) with private shower & aircon facing a little garden (total 2 bedrooms available in this house), and you can enjoy the entire house (total land 320sqm). We love vintage, we bought the house materials and furniture from all over Java. They are folkart, rustic, vintage and unique.....the real Javanese heritage. We want to bring back the past, the memory when we spent school holidays in our grandparents house in small village. The characteristic of traditional Javanese wooden house is low door (approx 1.8m height) so we have to bow a bit to show respect to the house owner or relatives. Please mind your head when you stay here :) While you book 1 room from our total 3 bedrooms, you can use common area and share with other guests: - A piaza or hall, we called pendopo and it's the main part of joglo house. This's a common area and dining room, where we gather with our families and guests. - terrace (at the back) and little garden (front, side and back) - little kitchen - parking lot for 2 cars - internet quota: max 3Gb for 2 night stays There's a maid in the house who'll help with everything you needs and you can always reach us via text/ (Hidden by Airbnb) My house is in the housing area (Sempur), near the Botanical Garden, Presidential Palace, Zoological Museum, Coffee Shop/restaurants, a lot of hawkers food and facing Ciliwung river. For sports lover, there're volley arena, soccer field and jogging track in the neighborgood. There's a small bridge nearby, if you can walk through to see small houses in the kampong across the river. My house is in the city center, where you can easily walk to everywhere: - The Botanical garden entrance, Presidential palace, museums is only 1.3km - The shuttle bus to airport (next to Botani Square shopping mall) and train station is only 2.2km - You can simply order app-based taxi (uber/grab, go-car) or app-based taxi motorbike (grab, gojek) to go everywhere - Public transportation (angkutan kota) is also easy to reach, it's a green minibus with number/route, and you pay directly to the driver - The coffee shop (Baked & Brew) is only 800m, and there are many restaurant in Pangrango Street nearby If you need a laundry, my sister has a laundry service. It's only cost you 70cents USD for 1 kilo laundry & pressing. Please advise the maid if you have laundry.
