Guests can catch a ferry and visit Dighi Port or Janjira Fort. - This cosy wooden chalet has a porch facing the sea where delicious Konkani meals with a Bengali twist can be served. These meals are prepared by our in-house cook. Don’t forget to request for his Masala baingan, which is finger-lickin' good. The guests have access to the sitting area and garden. However, the guests will not be allowed to access the kitchen. Our caretakers will ensure you have a comfortable stay. Guests can visit Agardanda beach which is just 1 km from the home. Janjira, the seafort is about 10 kms away on the other side of the beach. Also, Dighi port is on the way to Janjira. The ruins of the Siddhi dynasty is just 1 km from the home. Guests can visit the Devgarh beach (40 mins from the home) via the RORO ferry from Agardanda Jetty. Mumbai is the closest airport 165kms away. From here hire a taxi or self drive to get to Murud-Janjira, a 5 hour drive away. Outside food is not allowed. Kitchen is only accessible to the staff Meal arrangements Meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are available at Rs (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) per person, per day (Veg and Non-Veg) and for children at Rs 800 per child, per day (Veg and Non-Veg) . Guests opting for Non-Vegetarian meals, should specify so, at the time of booking. Tea/Coffee will be served during breakfast and evening tea time. If you would like tea/coffee at any other time of the day, it can be arranged at an additional charge. The beach by the home is not private. There are steps that lead to the beach. Between the three cottages, up to 9 guests can be accommodated. Pet charges are Rs 500 + applicable GST per pet, per day and a refundable deposit of Rs (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Pet owners are requested to carry along food and bedding for their pets. Mobile network is patchy due to location. The home is in a rural area of Maharashtra, powered by MSEB. In case of disruption due to fluctuation, we have a genset.
