A cheery welcome to the home of the Rising Spirit Bed & Breakfast & Beyond! We are nestled along the Ganaraska River on 5-private acres of the Oak Ridges Moraine with two ponds and a spring-fed river on our property. Not only will you sleep peacefully in your cozy guest room and be nourished by a sumptuous home-made buffet breakfast every morning, you will also have access to our premium Massage chairs and hammocks. Yoga class, Infrared sauna and massage services are available as an add on. Your room offers a Serta Perfect Sleeper Canadian Anniversary king-sized bed with plush bedding and a relaxing, cozy place to sit and work. This can be made into two twin beds if requested. This space has a distinctly crafted interior so you can unwind in the comfort and warmth of your room. The Donald Bruce Lounge, located on the second floor overlooking our property and ponds, is a space that offers cozy and comfortable couches for relaxation, books for lending, a game-board table and puzzle area. This area also has a refreshment nook with a kettle, fridge, microwave and Kuerig machine. Towels and face clothes are provided. A shower and an extra-large bathtub are available for luxurious bathing. Each guest receives space in the bathroom for toiletries, as well as a cubbyhole in the wellness treatment studio. The Rising Spirit 'Play Shop' Studio houses a full Yoga studio and treatment rooms to enhance your wellness. Also included in your stay: - Homemade buffet breakfast - Coffee (specialty), tea (loose leaf) & refreshments - 3D Shiatsu Zero Gravity Massage chairs (30 minute time limit per use) - Half-hour Infrared sauna sessions - Use of yoga studio (if no instruction taking place) - Snowshoe rental ($15 for 2 hours) - One free Yoga class for bookings 3 nights and over At Rising Spirit, we set out to create a friendly space that offers rejuvenation and an 'all-in-one' comfortable experience, from the quality of your bed to the Wellness benefits of our included services. Whether your staying with us for one night or over a week, we want to make your Winter experience as comfortable and inviting as possible. NOTE: Please see our other listings for additional room availability if your party is larger than 2 people and you'd like to book another room with us. Our B&B has 3 different rooms that we rent out to guests separately. You will have access to the lounge upstairs, both the upstairs and the downstairs washrooms, the outside property grounds, and the 'Play Shop' studio (unless in use for classes or other bookings). A full complimentary breakfast is served in the dining room downstairs, however for extended stays feel free to contact us for additional meal options. You will be sharing our home with us, but we ensure you you're privacy and we've made every effort to allow for independent living. We are quiet and respectful of your space, but we will happily embrace any experience you want to create. We are in the heart of the beautiful rolling hills of Northumberland County and the major attractions in the Municipality of Clarington. We are around the corner from Brimacombe Ski Resort and a short distance from the Ganaraska Forest Centre, Tree-top Trekking, Laveanna Lavender Fields, Primitive Design & Jungle Cat World. This area is renowned for dozens of cross-country ski, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling trails. We have weekly yoga classes held in our Yoga studio separate from the main house. If you book for 3 nights or over, then you may attend a free weekly yoga class of your choice that is held over the course of your stay. Additionally, you can drop-in or arrange a yoga class for an extra $15. The doors are completely open if you'd like to join us for an hour and fifteen minutes of finding space and calming the mind in any of our sessions during your stay. When ever the Yoga studio is vacant, you will have completely free access and are welcome to use it for your own yoga or meditative practice. We also offer hot stone and Indian scalp massage services in our treatment rooms, so feel free to inquire to us personally for more information if this is something you are interested in.
