★Stay in a Beautiful Omani Village★

Located in the beautiful fishing village of Qantab, just 15 minutes drive from Muscat. Quiet & clean with a garden & roof terrace. Head North to Muscat, or South to embark on a day of adventure to ODC, Yiti Beach, Wadi Mayh, Bandar Khayran, Sifah!!! The villa is split over two floors. Each floor comprising of 4 double Bedrooms with a central "living room" which all the bedrooms open onto. I used the quotes because it is more of a lobby space, and it is windowless and besides you will probably want to spend most of your time outdoors in the garden or roof terrace! Each room has an en-suite bathroom, Some of the rooms have a small kitchenette with sink, kettle, fridge (not cooking facilities - but you can use the communal kitchen). The 4 bedrooms on each floor open into a central living space, there is a separate entrance for upstairs and downstairs, so if you do book all 4 rooms on one floor you'll have your own space and entrance There is also a large kitchen at the rear of the house (accessible from the outside by walking around the house) with full cooking facilities, large commercial fridge and freezer, and a pantry. While breakfast is prepared for you by Akbar - the caretaker - you are free to use the kitchen in the afternoons to make your own lunch or dinner using your own purchased ingredients. I'm based in Oman for a few months of the year (always through the winter!) so if you're here then I am more than happy to suggest various day trips, off road trips, best secluded beach spots or hiking treks. But unfortunately the rest of the year I am not in Oman but I will remain your main point of contact regarding your booking, with Akbar the caretaker looking after you at the house. Qantab is a beautiful sleepy fishing village located just outside the southern end of Muscat. Nestled between stunning large mountains it is a peaceful village to end your days exploring the Souk in Matrah, the Grand Mosque, the Opera House, the Marina for a Dolphin Watching trip, or the many sites in and around Muscat heading north. Or if you prefer a day of adventure, simply head south towards Wadi Mayh, off roading to Yiti Beach, snorkelling in Bandar Khayran, Scuba Diving from the Oman Dive Centre, amazing sea food dinner at the beach front As Samak restaurant near Sifah, or the many other adventures in that direction - ALL of these locations between 5 minutes and 40 minutes drive away! There is so much to explore in the surrounding area, but when you arrive home to Qantab you'll appreciate the peace and quiet in a friendly Omani village. You can enjoy the views and sounds of the sea walking along the beach or from the roof terrace, or hang out in the garden. Getting around beyond the village a car is most certainly needed. I can provide numbers for local taxi drivers if you don't have a car. If you would like to hire a car and guide for 24 hours periods I can arrange that for you as well. If you would prefer to rent your own car this can also be arranged for you once you arrive, or there are many choices at the airport.
