If you are traveling with young children we absolutely encourage play in the treehouse and yard. We have a preschooler who enjoys meeting new friends, so don’t be shy about asking for a play date! Older kiddos and adults enjoy walking and exploring the natural areas in our back 4 acres. Please use the deep woods off located in the bathroom cabinet to ward off any mosquitoes and ticks, in addition to appropriate outdoor clothing. The space is in a rural area. We are happy to help with grocery service, dry cleaning or other errands to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Our chickens provide cute mini-sized fresh eggs - as long as everyone is laying, you’ll likely find some in the fridge during your stay! The fire pit area next to the creek is currently being renovated, but you are welcome to use the in-ground fire ring to enjoy Smores on the weekends when the weather is cooler at night. Riverbrooke is a spacious, yet close knit, social community. We participate in Neighborhood Watch and most properties have camera surveillance for security. If you are taking a leisurely walk around the subdivision, our neighbors will wave or stop to chat. Maps and visitor information are provided and free for guests to take. We also enjoy being your tour guides and are happy to arrange things to do in the local area.
