There is a double bedroom, one single bedroom with bunkbeds, a bathroom, a kitchen and a sitting/ dining room. Outside there is off road parking for two cars, a patio with furniture and shared communal grounds. Journeys End is a wonderful base for your peaceful and relaxing holiday The space Journeys End is a beautifully-presented end of terrace cottage which is about 100 years old, set in the stunning grounds of Coverack Headland on the spectacular Lizard Peninsula with sea views from both of the bedrooms, only a short distance away from Coverack and can sleep four people. There is a double bedroom, one single bedroom with adult sized bunkbeds, a bathroom, a kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area. There is a TV in the house which is connected to the internet. The cottage has two allocated parking spaces. This is a real bonus as parking in the height of the season in Coverack can be a tricky act. Please note - we provide bed linen and towels, but please bring your own beach towels. Outside there is a cosy patio with furniture and also you have use of the shared communal grounds. There is also a shared tennis court and shared coin-operated laundry room in the complex. Journeys End is a wonderful base for your peaceful and relaxing holiday. Headlands communal gardens are for you to enjoy and have fabulous views. There are benches and grass spaces some of which are secluded to have a picnic overlooking the spectacular sea and stunning coastline. The gardens are great for just chilling out in and reading a book with the sound of the waves and birdlife to keep you company. At times you can see dolphins and seals playing in the sea. Have breakfast in the gardens opposite the cottage overlooking the magnificent coastline, and you will probably still be there for lunch! The cottage is part of the old Headlands Hotel complex. The main building was converted to apartments around 30 years ago. Journeys End is one of three original cottages that were built for the workers when the hotel was in existence. Chynhall's Point which is owned by the National Trust, where the house is located, has stunning views. A short walk away is the footpath to Mears beach which is secluded and can be accessed by walking down the Headlands footpath - it takes around 5 minutes to reach it. At times the waves are good enough to body board. Coverack is a amazing location. It's surrounded by beautiful walks and sandy beaches. From the cottage, you can stroll down the Headland to the village (takes about ten mins) where you will find local shops, the friendly Paris pub, some other great places to eat and the pretty harbour. Coverack is also near to some spectacular sights such as the Lizard, Lands End, St Michael's Mount and Poldark’s mine to name just a few. These locations are all within easy driving distance and believe me they are definitely worth visiting.
