Cosy caravan amongst the trees

Set within 6 acres of farmland this 1977 caravan with a large conservatory is a comfortable spot to get a taste of rural life, while only being 7 minutes away from the heart of Lower Hutt. As local beekeepers, we'll have honey and farm fresh eggs from our chickens ready for you on arrival. This space is ideal for 2, but with room for 4 people. We’ve found it works well for families with smaller children, rather than 4 adults. Some adult groups love it as they are relaxed together. #bonnydoonz This is a large property which you are welcome to explore. Go collect eggs from the chickens for breakfast, say hey to Frank and Joe (the Alpacas), along with our sheep on your way to the creek to see the chickens. A full bathroom with toilet, shower, washing machine and dryer is just 20 paces down the sloping pathway from the caravan, externally accessed, for your use only (it is part of the main house). It is a caravan and it’s in the bush - so comfort with that type of environment is a must if you come and visit! Well behaved dogs are welcome - please let us know about your dog and how they relate to other animals before you book. Belmont Hill is a perfect urban meets rural environment. We are 5 minutes from the Hutt motorway, 10 minutes from the Hutt CBD and another 20 minutes of will get you into Wellington. We are in walking distance (just up the road) of Belmont Regional Park and there are plenty of tracks to explore throughout Belmont. There is a bus stop just 5 minutes down the road, you can park right next to the caravan and trains and buses run from the Hutt CBD regularly. The bed in the caravan is only 1.8m long so if you're tall take note! Children are welcome as it can sleep more than two (there are two short single caravan beds) but think about what will work best for you before you book. The sofa folds out too.
