Stunning Motueka Valley - Cherry Homestead cottage

cherry cottage We welcome you to stay in our cute little farm cottage here in sunny Motueka Valley. It is privately situated on the property and overlooking the plum orchard and the stunning Kahurangi mountains. The cottage sleeps up to 5 people with 3 people in the main cottage and 2 people in the little sleep out. The cottage has a modern, cozy and intimate feel and is set up with everything you might need for your stay including WiFi, washing machine, BBQ area, Kitchen, TV, Heating, AC, etc. The main cottage has a fully self-contained kitchen, bathroom, shower and washing machine. The bedroom in the main cottage have a queen and a single bed, all linen, bedding and towels supplied. In addition, you will find a lounge with a TV and a dining area for everyone to enjoy. On the outside, you have a decked area with LPG BBQ, seating, an outdoor kitchen and a herb garden. The deck extends around the corner of the house tying the main cottage to the charming sleep out. The sleep-out has a setup with two single beds. The beds have castors giving the possibility to place them together. The main cottage and the sleep out are heated to make it warm and cozy for any chilly nights. WiFi is also included for your convenience, terms and conditions apply. A service of a continental breakfast can be added to your stay for an additional cost of $15/person each day. The breakfast includes fruit juice, fresh fruit, cereals, eggs (from our own hens), bread, soft spread, jam, cheese and milk. Tea and coffee are already provided on arrival. Breakfast orders need to be placed before 4 pm the day before or please make a note when making your booking. Your breakfast will be delivered the day before so you can enjoy at a convenient time for you. Breakfast is to be paid on arrival. PLEASE NOTE: The main cottage can be booked without the sleep-out for up to 3 people for a lower nightly rate. Please contact us directly to enquire about this. If you are into biking, Cherry Homestead is the perfect stop for a night's rest. With the Great Taste Trail going past our front gate our little farm cottage becomes a welcome stop for those tired bikers to rest their legs. If you prefer tramping to biking then you won’t be disappointed as Flora car park is just a short drive away. Flora is the starting point for accessing Mount Arthur, Mount Lodestone, Tablelands, Cobb Valley etc… When you think of Abel Tasman it’s hard for your mind not to wander off to Golden beaches and tucked away paradise rock pools and rightly so. There are some truly magical spots to visit in Tasman and the Golden Bay area. Kaiteriteri beach is one of the most popular ones as well as the close by Marahau, which is the starting point for the Abel Tasman Coastal Track. All within a short drive of Cherry Homestead... Cleaning is included in the nightly rate but we ask you to clean up your dishes before departure as it is not included in the cleaning. Thank you.
