Very light and airy spacious park home set within Rye Harbour Holiday Park, adjacent to Rye Harbour and alongside a 1000 acre nature reserve that leads down to the seashore. The home is extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with all mod cons to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The Park is suited more for adults, who enjoy the outdoors, fantastic walks across the nature reserve with abundant wildlife right on your doorstep. Or for the more energetic and serious hikers then why not try part of the famous 1066 walk. The park also offer a comfortable clubhouse with bar and restaurant offering occasional entertainment. A communal small swimming pool is open to guests within the summer season. Laundry facilities on site or within the home. A washer / dryer can be found to the side of my property within the Asgard shed. Please note that car parking is not directly alongside the parkhome but just a minute away. The park offer free WiFi within the clubhouse / reception / bar, restaurant area. The park home also has wifi enabled and should you wish to use then I will send you the details to be able to login. The park has full CCTV, security barriers and nightly patrolled security officers for you safety and peace of mind. Guests will be designated the master bedroom with en-suite toilet facilities, however should you prefer the twin bedroom then kindly request before you place your booking. Guests will have full access to the whole of the caravan apart from my own personal bedroom (twin bedroom), whether I am present or not, unless prior consent has been granted. I know this sounds harsh, but due to a guest recently inviting other friends to come and stay with them during their stay without my consent and taking full liberty to sleep in my bed and utilise my personal space. Please note my park home is only for hire to a maximum of two people, anyone breaking this rule will be reported to AirBnB. Please be advised that I have neighbours who will advise me and the parks security should you feel free to invite more people to stay alongside you during your stay. However should you wish for total privacy then please do not hesitate to state this before you make a booking, I will not be offended and will leave you in total privacy for the duration of your stay as luckily I have the most wonderful sister locally who is always prepared to put up with me. LOL. And I love her to bits. If I am present and you request, a full english breakfast will be offered free of charge. However if i’m not present then you will find breakfast cereals, bread, other bakery items, butter, preserves, tea, coffee and hot chocolate, fruit juice, cheese and eggs for you to prepare your own continental breakfast. You will also be entitled to one bottle of wine from the wine rack as a gift from me to welcome you into my home. Along with bedding and towels supplied you will find a selection of bathroom toiletries which you may use, should you of forgotten any essential items. Please also help your self to a pair of slippers to change into on your arrival and use for the duration of your stay, should you need. Kindly discard of at the end of your stay or if you wish take home with you. You are more than welcome to use all the facilities within my home to prepare yourself lunch or dinner, you may even need to borrow some of the basic food items you find within the cudboard, but all I ask is that you kindly replace any food items that you may of used from my personal larder. On your departure kindly empty the rubbish bin and ensure all gas, electric and water appliances are turned off apart from the fridge / freezer. Full instructions to close down the home can be found in the BLACK FOLDER which along side has many local attraction and leaflet information for many different attractions within the vicinity or Rye Harbour, all offering great day out’s to compliment your stay. Due to my job I may not be present during your stay, however will do my best to ensure your stay is comfortable and all your needs will be catered for. You will be able to contact me or my sister Maria should you require any help or advise, you also have the help of the reception staff at the park entrance. Please do not hesitate to contact us at anytime but in the case of an emergency please call upon the Rye Harbour staff for there guidance, help and extremely caring attitude. Rye Harbour is surrounded by the most beautiful old town and ancient villages and stunning rolling countryside. Fantastic beaches for exploring and swimming, kite and wind surfing. Many safe cycle routes covering umpteen miles and local attractions, pubs, supermarkets and convenience stores, not forgetting the stunning cinque ports market town of Rye offering some wonderful antique shops and the once fortnightly Friday morning antique and collectables auction at the Rye Auction Galleries, livestock, food and clothing markets, restaurants, cafe’s and coffee shops. Should you wish to hire bikes then there are options in Rye and Rye Harbour which also include electric bikes, should you need that little bit of help. For all you Yoggies out there, you can join many classes of yoga held in the Rye Harbour village hall and also at Winchelsea. A full list of classes can be found in the parks reception area. The unique landscape of Romney Marsh is only a short drive away offering fantastic bird watching opportunities and a haven for cyclist’s due to the flat terrain. Then to finish off your holiday why not take the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch steam railway trip to Dungerness, known to locals as the fifth continent. If you like to flex the credit card and enjoy shopping then head to the outlet centre in Ashford and while away the hours shopping for wonderful items at reduced shop prices. The summer months allow the brave to swim in the sea at umpteen different locations along the coastline from sandy 5 star beaches to shingle / pebble beaches and for the naturists you will find a beautiful pebble cove beach at the base of the South Downs at Fairlight Glen national park. It is a fairly long walk from the parking area at the top of the hill, but well worth the descent when you reach the beach, not forgetting the workout and calorie burn on your climb back up to the car. If your interested in kite-surfing then you must head to Camber Sands where you will find two locations that hire all that is needed if you are looking for an adrenaline rush. Also on the way to Camber Sands you will find a beautiful golf course running alongside the sand dunes. I am not a golfer but have been advised that this is a high quality, beautifully designed course and also offer a wonderful clubhouse for relaxation after your days golfing. If you have a particular sport, hobby, pastime and require further help or guidance then please message me and I will do my upmost to send out enquiries to try and answer your question. There is an hourly bus service (313 Northiam to Rye Harbour ), operated by Stagecoach in Hastings, but the service stops running early in the evening, hence it is necessary to pre-book a local taxi or better still provide your own transport, whether it be bikes, mopeds or car. There are a few electric bike (e-bike) rental facilities to be found in the town of Rye, also along the Harbour Road and in Rye Harbour opposite the lifeboat station should you need to hire a bike. The keys will be held in a secure lock box for collection and return. I will also leave full details of how to open and shut down all the gas, electrical and water facilities for the property, you will find this in the BLACK FOLDER on the table or underneath the TV on the shelving unit. We all know the occasional accident happens, but please report any breakages or damage to me.
