Charming renovated stone cottage, fully self contained or we can cater for you. All modern comforts in quiet rural setting with lovely views to Murray Bridge, 5 mins from Murray Bridge or one hour from Adelaide. Central setting to many regional attractions such as the Barossa valley,the southern coast, the Adelaide hills region and here,the Murray river and Monarto open plains zoo. There are many regional markets and great antique, bric a brac shops in many of the towns and villages. Our B&B is ideally located on a small rural property that is only 5 minutes by car from town or a 20 minute walk. It is a peaceful location and we have lovely gardens that offer different views over the surrounding area. The front of the property looks down over the river flats to the Murray River where many species of bird inhabit. There are walking trails and bike paths along the river that continue further into the local hills for the more adventurous. The B&B has its own access from the parking and has its own verandah and courtyard area that is great for relaxing, barbecuing etc. We have a library/games room that guests are welcome to use. Guests are also welcome to use the garden areas to take in a shady spot or enjoy the views. The property is on a slop so there is steps here and there. We are more than happy to have a chat or offer any help that guests might need. We can organise picnics,lunches and dinners on request for additional cost or even some aperitifs to enjoy the sunset. We can provide transport to town if needed or a driver for tours around the region. We can provide classes in cooking some local aussie food or some French classics. Our area is mainly small rural properties and offers space and the sounds of the country but only minutes from all the amenities of the town. Murray Bridge is a small rural city that has its own public transport (bus service) and provides a regional bus service that connects to city transport services in Adelaide. There is a local taxi service and the Murray Bridge tourist bureau can also organise tours. We can provide transport to the city or airport one hour away or around the surrounding area for an additional cost. We can provide meals on request at low cost. We have plenty of room to park your boat, trailer etc... Bicycle and canoe available. CCTV on public area. Sorry our accommodations aren't suitable for little kids. We've been advised to keep our place as authentic as possible therefore the floor has paint and salt damp stains but is thoroughly vaccumed and cleaned for each booking, the windows are scratched and marked, just apreciate this authenticity and imagine how life was from 1870s to our time.
