Air cond self contained cabin; 1 double bed; 4 singles, plus sofa bed. Open plan with a separate bathroom (+ washing machine & dryer). Full kitchen with stovetop and oven, microwave, fridge & chest freezer, electric frying pan. Internal dining, linen, crockery, cutlery, TV and radio; BBQ and outdoor seating too! Books, games, toys, bikes & scooters, fishing gear, golf clubs all available to borrow. In a bush setting, we have lizards, frogs, birds and goannas...all friendly! We are in a quiet area of Cardwell, close to the sea and local boat ramp. The cabin is on its own block, with plenty of room for cars and boats. We are near a children's park and the beachside walking track which runs the full length of Cardwell. We have bikes and scooters for you and your family to use on the walking track Totally independent cabin in a cul-de-sac. As the cabin is near our own house, we are available to help you with all your needs. With a fire pit between the houses, we'd love to share a fireside chat and give you plenty of tips for fishing or touring our beautiful region. As we are in close proximity, we are also able to give added security to your belongings while you're out and about, however we respect your need for privacy or a quiet stay alone. Our level of interaction totally depends on you. We are in a quiet cul-de-sac in the northern area of Cardwell. With 2 streets from the beach and natural mahogany glider habitat behind us, we have a perfect combination, with visits from goannas, wallaby and curlews. Close to Meunga Creek boat ramp and 5 minutes from Port Hinchinbrook ramp. We are 5 mins drive away from one of the best little golf clubs in Nth Qld and we have a set of clubs and push buggy to loan you! There is a restaurant within a 15 minute walk along the foreshore. Shopping is a 3 minute drive and a 15 minute walk. There is a car rental facility in town. We do not have public transport, however we can loan you some bikes free of charge. Most clubs and restaurants have a courtesy bus. The accommodation is a cabin - set up as a fishing shack. There are no fancy frills, however it is very comfortable. The cabin is air conditioned and there are fans throughout, including verandah. There are also flyscreens on windows and doors. We have frogs and skinks, lizards and geckos. None will harm you, but we live in a bush setting, so it's natural.
