Guimondiere is a well-appointed 2 storey spacious holiday home with 3 double bedrooms and a shower room/toilet on each floor. There is a separate tv lounge, fully equipped large kitchen/diner, patio doors lead out onto a private garden with a covered BBQ area. The house is landscaped to provide maximum privacy with its own entrance. There is a solar heated swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests adjacent to a large shaded sun terrace. There is a games barn, boules pitch and lawns. There are 2 bedrooms with double beds, both rooms have additional cot/put u up bed space if required. The third bedroom has 2 single beds. There is a shower room and toilet on each floor, the downstairs shower is larger with easy access. Towels and bed linen are provided. There are electric radiators throughout the property. The lounge has comfortable seating for up to 8 people and one sofa converts to a double bed if required. In the lounge there is a wide screen tv and DVD player with British channels and French channels in the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, cafetiere, teapots, electric kettle, dinner service, cutlery, glasses etc. Tea towels and cleaning materials are provided. There is a washing machine and line available (no tumble dryer). The private garden has a solar heated swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests adjacent to a large shaded sun terrace and a gas barbeque and outdoor garden furniture. There are other lawned areas with a boules pitch, short tennis and badminton. There is a games barn with a skittle alley (quilles), table tennis, and darts. Swimming pool 7.5 x 3 m, 1.2 m deep. The owners live in an adjacent property and are available should guests require any assistance or other information. There is a friendly resident elderly female dog. There are chickens and sheep in fenced areas on the site. The location is rural, with small villages and towns, lots of forest and countryside, good for walkers and cyclists. The pretty villages of St Leonard des Bois and St Ceneri le Gerei are only a few minutes away by car and offer bars and restaurants in the season. From Easter there are often local fetes and vides greniers to peruse at leisure.
