It's official. The world is still nuts as we know it. Here at Nightcap Exchange we have our own special madness. A mostly unfinished C.1890s logger cabin zombie flip reno in wild bush with total privacy .. well, except for the open bathroom , 15 free range animals wandering around and occasionally dropping in. Close the gates and isolate in beautiful sun drenched nature or put on the log fire. Think Unplug! Intrepid! Wild Glamp! Safari! Booked out at own risk! Location ONLY now available.. Within gated 87 acres at the end of a dirt road into the national parks, you will stay in an original logger cottage which is sunny and faces a jurassic volcanic plug. In your private natural amphitheatre, surrounded by lush ancient rainforest and world heritage listed ancient rainbow serpent mountains you will feel the magic and healing powers of this magnificent country. Go to sleep to the sound of frogs & night critters around the water hole & wake up to the most incredible bird sanctuary. You will feel like you are stepping back in time and a long way away from it all. Our old cottage is slowly being restored with lots of chill spots to soak in the amazing vista. It will feel a bit like an exotic holiday with your outdoor bathroom and peacock looking in. If you are lucky you will see aliens and dinosaurs...and maybe a ghost or two! The cottage has two bedrooms, extra comfy mattresses, super silent modern ceiling fans, lounge dining with sensational views, country kitchen, gas oven and wrap around verandahs lounges and breathtaking views. Bring your books and paintbrushes! Oh and gardening tools depending on how long you will stay, there is plenty of wood to chop to make your indoor or outdoor fire. The open bathroom is adjacent to master bed or also accessed by verandah, please note has a primitive 'bush' drop composting toilet and lush velvet stage curtain for privacy or the best loo view you have ever seen. Please also note our wifi IS fine but NOT unlimited. Guests have full access to cottage and 87 acres of walks slowly opening up on the property. You will also love the untouched creeks and pristine swimming holes. Enjoy your own private nature trails on the property, use of a mountain bike, kayak on the dam, pet our free range farmyard animals , train a naughty pony, do some bush regen or test your lungs or instrument in the natural amphitheatre.. Caretaker onsite but not within sight or hearing distance. I am also a health professional and a bit alternative. I can do food drop offs to your door as necessary just ask. I am working hard on vegie gardens and would be happy for assistance. There are other building projects to make further arrangements/trade if you need to extend your stay. We will give you total privacy if iso required though here to assist if you need. You will need to arrive with all your own food initially. Local food hampers can also be delivered extra charges apply. Initially the fridge will be stocked with your breakfast essentials, fruit, milk, Uki coffee, organic teas, Nimbin bread (or local as available) fresh eggs from our girls etc. Help yourself to spices and herbs in the kitchen or pick anything in season from our orchards if our naughty goats haven’t gotten there first 😉 Remote pristine rainforest right under Mt Jerusalem and the UNESCO heritage listed Nightcap National Park. Expect wild life, farm pets dropping in to say hi, nature walks and wonderful views. You will need a reliable car (in extreme wet 4WD recommended) unless you want to skydive in and hot air balloon out...or helicopter...see our Insta for Bond style arrival. I can easily arrange for you if you want to have that extra extreme experience and adventure. For regular drivers, note, 3 kilometres of well maintained dirt road before entering the property and can get a bit rough right at end but 4wd not necessary. Telstra is only mobile phone service that works however the satellite wifi, though mot unlimited, is usually very reliable for any urgent need to stay in touch with the real world. Please ensure you have directions before leaving Uki which I will text to your phone after booking and with checkin details. Safe travels.. We are a fully organic farm and wish to keep it that way. Please respect our decision and act accordingly. Our nearest town is Uki and Mt Wollumbin Hotel, 25 mins by car and NImbin is about 35 mins. You are required to BYO all food and drinks (drinking water provided and some offerrings from farm as available.) All rubbish is to be taken with you at end of your stay. We can assist you as necessary if you need to quarantine etc we can provide food at your door! Currently we have a chef at the property so meals can be prepared on site. Jacqueline can also assist with health referrals as required. Let us know your needs and we will try and accomodate accordingly. It's also just a long way to the shop and once here you may not want to go out! . You are welcome to arrive by hot air balloon or helicopter...and true! Some guests have! We are practicing wholesome organic sustainability on the property and keeping our environment pristine :) If you'd like a longer retreat, get stuck or feel you need to unplug for longer we love exchanges, let's talk!
