Big Blue Bed and Breakfast (Attic Hideaway)

Big Blue is not your typical B&B. We have completely restored this huge 1890’s home and have made it a great place for a cozy getaway or family vacation. The Attic Hideaway is perfect for families or groups getting together with 2 queen beds, 2 full and 2 twin beds. It's a great chance to get away from it all and sink into a super comfy bath! With it's own living room including comfy leather furniture and 3 smart tvs, you can just relax in this cozy family friendly getaway. No parties/events FREE BREAKFAST! If you walk away hungry, it's not our fault! Plus we are less than 30 minutes to Des Moines, and 5 minutes north of I-80. We make a full breakfast every morning and homemade snacks during the day. Our parking lot is practically on the Raccoon River Valley Trail and we are very bike friendly. This is the perfect place for your family or group or just the two of you to get away. Adel has great restaurants and nearby attractions to explore. With a great newly remodeled bowling alley down the street and movie theaters within 15 minutes away, we are still small enough for quiet walks in the evening and lots of good pokemon hunting for the kids (or the kid in you!) We have excellent amenities including smart TVs with Netflix and Hulu-live. We are family owned and run. My husband Mike and I, as well as my parents Greg and Charlotte are Innkeepers and we will be here to welcome you and your family or group. If there is something you like for breakfast, please let us know! We can also make other meals for you and your group. Just let us know and we can get you a price. Feel free to use the main floor sitting room and parlor as well as the dining room. We love visiting with guests.
