The house was built in 1905 and contains many elements of Art Nouveau. The apartment itself has been recently renovated. Kitchen and bathroom are state of the art and equipped with all appliances. During the renovation, however, the elements were preserved that make up the original character of a noble old building. More than 100-year-old parquet floors, double doors and a ceiling height of 3.4 meters in this light-flooded 120 square meter apartment are witnesses of Vienna's imperial era. The apartment has been lovingly furnished with a combination of modern furniture and vintage design classics. From the balcony and from the windows you have a direct view of the UNESCO World Heritage Schönbrunn Palace and its park. We hope our guests enjoy these benefits so much that they would like to come back. :-) The apartment is located next to Schönbrunn Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk to small bars from the apartment, and to restaurants with Austrian and international cuisine. Supermarkets, delis, and the Meidlinger Markt are close by. public transport: Vienna has a very well-developed public transport system with buses, trams and subways. Most subways run every 3 to 5 minutes. On weekend nights, subways run all night in 15 minute intervals. Closest subway station to this apartment is „Schönbrunn“ (just a 5 minute walk) from where you can get to the city in no time. The price for a one-way ticket is € 2.40, but for tourists, a long-term-ticket ticket is the best choice. You can choose between 24 hours, 48 hours or one week. parking: Unfortunately, we can not offer our guests free parking. But of course there are different ways to park your car. - Nearest parking garage is at the U4 Center, Schönbrunnerstr. 222-228 ; daily rate € 29.00 - Cheaper is PARK + RIDE at subway station HÜTTELDORF. just an 8-minute ride from the nearby U4 station SCHÖNBRUNN. By car the garage can be reached via adress DEUTSCHORDENSTR. 3A ; daily rate € 3.40 , weekly rate € 17.10 - From 19:00 till 09:00 in the morning you can park your car for free on the street. As well as on weekends and holidays. From Monday to Friday, between 9:00 and 19:00, the cost is € 2.10 per hour. Parking tickets are available in every „Trafik“ (tobacconists and newsagents). BUT NOTICE: Most of the parking areas on the street is resident parking. Please take care not to park your car in these places, as the penalty for parking violation is € 36.00 ! Please note that late check-in after 22:00/10pm is subject to an additional fee of 15€ in cash. Check-in after 24:00/12am are subject to an additional fee of 25€ in cash.
