It is a non-commercial activity and the minimum stay is for 4 days. IMPORTANT: 1. One must obtain Responsible Human Mission ( RHM) Registration before their arrival. 2. UNIQUE EXPERIENCE: Our farm is liked by people looking for solitude, to connect with self, to do nothing, to experience chemical free life, to enjoy simple vegetarian food, to experience village life, to heal your mind, body and soul in the lap of nature We encourage long stay, weekly (10% off) or monthly (20% off) at the retreat so that you can detoxify your mind and body completely by engaging in Yoga & Meditation, simple eating habits, barefoot nature walk, spending time with animals, enjoying the music of birds, chemical-free life and much more....... This opportunity comes to you as part of TGG Foundation's Sustainable Living Experience, which is offered to Responsible Human Mission (RHM) Registrants. All AirBnB guests are requested to gather information available by searching "Responsible Human Mission" online and if they agree to the the code of practice and Ethos of TGG, register by paying a onetime registration fee of Rs.500/ ($10) to obtain a one time registration number for life time. The amount paid by you through Airbnb is treated as donation. 20% of it is used for administrative expenses, 40% for Livelihood Mission, 40% for TGG AID. During your stay, if you require any housekeeping service / laundry service / linen change, it will be charged extra. RESPONSIBLE HUMAN MISSION in brief: We believe that the mission to help someone and make their life better must be self-driven. It would help if every well-earned person could contribute just a small portion to reverse the inequalities present within our society thereby improving the overall literacy, livelihood, health, and prosperity for all. It is our responsibility to provide the less fortunate with the minimum necessities to allow them to pursue a dignified life. People those who uphold humanity over the polarising ideologies can enrolled under RHM. NOTE: Sustainable Living experience is not for hyper actives. We request all international guests to arrive between 9am and 5pm at the office of TGG Foundation for C-form registration to complete and check-in at the farm before 6PM. Our office is 6.5kms away from the farm in a place called Onneyar (Ambalavayal-Vaduvanchal Road). Auto from the office to the farm will cost around Rs.170/- All resident Indian can check-in at the farm between 12:00 to 18:00 hours with a copy of their aadhar Card for ID proof. Please carry a photocopy of your aadhar card and hand over the same to the farm attendant while registering arrival. All areas of the farm are accessible to the guest. Since it is a farm in a wilderness you are responsible for your safety. I stay at the office complex of TGG Foundation, which is around 6.5 kms from The Green Gardens Farm. During the visit of the guest I make sure to meet and interact with them. Also I am available 24/7 through mobile and watsapp. We follow Zero Waste policy at the farm, bio degradable wastes are well managed within the farm, however all other wastes are discouraged from entering into the farm and if entered it need to be taken out of the farm when you leave. There is a disposal system available in Ambalavayal (4kms from the farm) for non-degradable products such as plastics. The Green Gardens is 10kms from Sulthan Bathery town, 4.7 kms from Ambalavayal Town, 5km from Edakkal Caves and 1km from Ambukuthy. Taxis and Autos are available on call for sight seeing and pick up or drop. It is a raw farm where we have not disturbed the nature much. It will be appreciated by people who enjoy solitude. The room is very simple with no facilities at all and is ideal for two people. The idea is to spend most of the time within nature and retreat to the room only when you wish to sleep or take rest. The toilet is fitted with health faucet hence toilet rolls are not provided. We discourage the use of paper rolls due to sustainable reasons. The food is prepared by the farm attendant on advance request and it is a vegetarian paradise.
