The uniqueness about this home is the quite peaceful surroundings with a spectacular lake view and the great openness of the rooms and common areas. There is a north and south shuttle that makes two runs daily between Kettle Falls and Spokane with connections to Airport, Amtrak and Greyhound (EMAIL HIDDEN) Loon Lake is in a snow belt expect lots of snow in winter. Loon Lake is a popular destination in summer for water-based recreation including swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, sailing, water skiing and jet-skiing. Its shores are lined with numerous cabins. The cabins are used primarily as weekend retreats and vacation cottages, but some are occupied year-round. An unofficial boat parade occurs every 4th of July, wherein lake residents and visitors decorate their boats and move in procession around the edge of the lake. Loon Lake is an unincorporated community in Stevens County, Washington, United States. Loon Lake Town is located on the northern shore of Loon Lake 5 miles east of Springdale. The community is served by U.S. Route 395 and Washington State Route 292.
