We welcome you to 'The Room at Ford House which is within our family home in the picturesque village of Yetminster. It is the ideal location from which to explore this wonderful countryside and coast. Ford House is adjacent to the railway station, with direct access to Gloucester & Weymouth, making travel a breeze! It is a request stop & a quiet line (although you may see the odd train stop at the end of the garden!) The Room itself forms part of the first floor' of the house. The Room is located at the front of the property on the 1st floor and overlooks the garden. Separate dedicated bathroom across the landing. Free Wi-Fi throughout the house. Tea/Coffee making facility in the room. Smart TV Mini Fridge *Please note this is offered as room only - breakfast not available. Yetminster is a village and civil parish in the English county of Dorset. It lies 4 miles south-west of Sherborne. It is sited on the River Wriggle, a tributary of the River Yeo, and is built almost entirely of honey-coloured limestone, which gives the village an appearance reminiscent of Cotswold villages. We have a local pub the White Hart which is a 3min walk from Ford House and a local Spar shop, gallery cafe, local vetinary, Dr surgery, church and motor spares shop and of course the train station. A direct route to Weymouth or Bristol. Smoking is permitted outside in the garden area.
