This 2 bedroom -2 bath trailer is comfortable, well-equipped, and perfectly located for all the Central Valley has to offer. . . near Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Parks, central to Yosemite, the Central Coast, and surrounded by citrus trees. You'll have llamas and goats for neighbors. Downtown Visalia is only a 20 minute drive- great local restaurants, shops and a good Farmer's Market, and the communities of Woodlake, Exeter and Three Rivers give you other dining/shopping options. Please note****- this is a trailer, not a house. It gets very hot here in the summer months, and despite our best efforts, it is difficult to cool when temperatures exceed 100°F. This is a permanently parked trailer home with a small deck, plenty of parking space, quiet . . . you have the whole place to yourself, and an easy self check-in. The trailer is well-stocked, plenty of towels, utensils and basic pantry items, local guide books, games, even beach towels for borrowin (Website hidden by Airbnb) small bbq, small fire pit, porch chairs and picnic table. Our Citrus Ranch is just down the road, and our market, The Main Squeeze isn't far. Guests receive a 15% discount at the market - on local cheese, salami & crackers for picnics, fresh juice, coffee, etc. We BBQ on Saturdays from 12:00-4:30 and host food trucks on Sundays from 12-4. This is a rural location, and being a trailer home, it has it's quirks. The showers are small, as is the oven . . . fencing surrounding the trailer is rustic (some barbed-wire) and in some places flimsy, and our neighbors have curious llamas and goats, so children need to be supervised outside at all times. Plumbing can be finicky or a faucet may leak. Facilities are not meant for long long showers. Unexpected “guests” can include spiders, insects, lizards or mice. . . this is not for you if you are squeamish about country living and all that entails. ***Trailer is not recommended for wheelchair users, due to stairs and narrow hallways. The entire trailer and porch, side yards are yours, privately. We also have two bicycles for your use. . . dedicated blankets for outdoor use around the fire pit, beach towels for excursions to river or lake, a market basket and small ice chest. We live in Visalia, but farm in Lindcove, and our market is in Lemon Cove. . . so we're very close if someone needs us. . . your privacy is important to us, so we won't bother you unless you ask. We are smack dab in the middle of the state, in the midst of the greatest farming area in the country, in citrus country. . . and only 20 miles from the park entrance. In 2 1/2 to 4 hours you can visit Yosemite, the Central Coast, Los Angeles, San Francisco. Guests will want to have a car, as public transport is not really an option . . . there is a Park shuttle that leaves from Visalia May-September. The nearest Amtrak train station is in Hanford- 35 miles away. CORONAVIRUS CARE: Please know your well-being and health is our biggest priority. The trailer is cleaned very thoroughly after each guest. All hard surfaces are wiped down with a laboratory-grade anti-microbial, anti-viral spray (called Bacdown). This is a great location for social-distancing, and we are providing two bicycles so that you may get out for some fresh air and explore the countryside. Air conditioning consists of an evaporative cooler (vent in hallway between kitchen and Bedroom 2, and a split unit air conditioner/heater mounted in the living room. we have added a portable AC unit in Bedroom 2.
