A private self contained cottage set in the grounds of the historic Gold Refinery building. Light filled and comfortable with retro inspired decor. In the heart of Paeroa; the 'antiques town' of NZ. The historic Gold Refinery building is a unique and charming setting for your stay. Ivy covered walls, gallery like space and mid century inspired cafe all set in park like grounds laden with fruit trees. The cottage is light and spacious. The kitchen and bathroom are basic but comfortable and well equipped. Cute retro furniture, NZ books and pottery. The flat, cafe (open Wed-Sun) with breakfast by arrangement on other days. Wifi access. Breakfast is not included. The cottage is private and totally separate from your hosts. Our on site cafe/coffee shop is open Wed-Sun. This is in the Refinery building- an amazing light filled gallery space furnished with comfy chairs and mid century style. We love to socialise but respect your privacy. Fantastic antique shops, easy access to the Hauraki Rail Trail, beautiful Waihi beach, Tauranga and the Karangahake Gorge. Just 1 1/2 hours from Auckland.
