Waiotahi Valley, a bush escape.

We're up the Waiotahi Valley in the heart of the old Thames goldfields, tucked into the peace and quiet of the bush covered hills yet walking distance to town, Thames Saturday market, and the Hauraki Rail Trail. We want to share our piece of paradise with you. Go to sleep to the sound of the stream and the morepork/ruru and awake to the sound of the birds. Perfect for one or two but plenty of room for more. We also always appreciate some indication of arrival time. Large, exclusive use, sunny studio with kitchenette, bathroom with shower, whb and toilet. Two beds, one double, one single. Access up wooden flight of steps to a shared deck that leads to the studio. Beautiful, inside & out. Access though the front gate, past the porch of the main house, down a couple of steps to a garden track that leads to the steps to the deck. Three minutes walk to the start of walking and mountain biking tracks that will take you all over the Corromandel ranges. We can often pick up from Thames bus stop where buses arrive from all over the country. It is a 5 minute drive away. We encourage and provide for recycling, composting and waste minimalisation. We do not provide milk upon arrival unless specifically requested in advance.
