Country Barn Retreat.

Situated on a 116 acre property, "The Shed" offers everything you need for a country getaway. This newly renovated, off-grid, open plan, converted barn consists of a modern bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom is situated on the mezzanine level with a comfortable king-sized bed. Below that is a versatile second living area with a futon couch that can be converted into a double bed. The main living area opens on to a verandah with stunning views of UKI's mountains and valleys. Our property is a 5 minute drive from Uki village and 45 minutes from Gold Coast airport. The driveway is gravel however, is accessible with all vehicles. Relax in front of the fireplace while enjoying the stunning views or take in the sunsets from the verandah. There is also a piano and easel set up for anyone who is inspired by the environment and feeling creative. The cattle and horses are friendly and will welcome a pat or food (provided). Please note there is no WiFi and the phone service can be patchy but most people will get reception on the verandah. The big council gate on Clarrie Hall Dam Roads opens at 7am and closes at 7pm. On arrival you will be given a buzzer for this gate. Please make sure you leave it behind when you depart or you will be charged a replacement fee. If arriving after 7pm special check-in needs to be arranged.
