Bush View Apartment

We have a compact, self-contained unit with basic kitchenette and bathroom underneath our house. It looks out onto a bush reserve and is very sunny and private with its own entrance and deck. The bed is a queen size. In order to provide affordable accommodation and care for the environment we have used recycled doors, windows and building products when building this unit. Most of our furniture is recycled. Our unit provides a cosy, clean and comfortable stay, not the latest furniture. Guests are welcome to enjoy and use our garden space and help themselves to any vegetables they like. We have two friendly cats. We would prefer guests who want to engage and connect with us and our environment and who are visiting Wellington, family, friends or here for work. There is off street parking and a bus that runs infrequently. Please let us know if you need anything. There is a Regional Park at the end of the road and lots of bush walks close by. It's approximately 3.5km to Lower Hutt city centre where all amenities can be found e.g. a Swimming Pool, a Mall, several Supermarkets, a Museum, I-Site, a Library, Cafes, Restaurants etc. There is a Beach and lovely Cinema and Boutique shops, Cafes, Restaurants located in Petone (approx 8 minutes drive). There is a bus nearby but you really need your own car as this is not a regular service. The trip into Wellington central takes about 20-30 minutes by car if not in rush- hour traffic. The site is not suitable for people with mobility issues as there is a path leading down to the flat with steps, a grassy slope and no railings. Our water is heated by solar power.
