1930s Home near DE turf, beaches, etc

Clean, comfortable and welcoming! Our home is located about 1.5 miles from Route 1. Giving you access to many attractions within a 10-30 minute drive depending on where you are headed! DE TURF SPORTS EVENTS (6 miles), DOVER DOWNS(20 miles), HARRINGTON CASINO(11 miles), FIREFLY(20 miles), DE STATE FAIR(11 miles), BEACHES(15-20 miles), STATE PARKS(20 miles), DOGFISH HEAD BREWERY(13 miles), TANGER OUTLETS(20 miles) (tax-free shopping!!) and many many places to eat! PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION* Welcome! Our home was built in the 1930’s and has some of the original charm within it! The hardwood floors have been in the house for about 80 years. We fell in love with this house the moment we stepped foot in it. This listing can sleep 2 people in their own room/bathroom in our home. PLEASE NOTE: We live in the home with our small dog. We tend to hang upstairs in our bedroom when we have guests but you might hear us walking around since it’s an older home. -Super fast wifi. -Comfy bed with cozy linens. -Central AC & heat. -Private bathroom stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, loofas, toothbrushes, etc. -Great places to relax after exploring the surrounding areas or sports at the DE turf complex. -Live-in hosts who are available for help 24/7 -Self-check in lock with special code for each guest. -Fast commute to many surrounding areas. -Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are always available on the "coffee bar" located in the kitchen.. please help yourself! -A dog concierge (so she thinks!!) We do have a beagle/yorkie mix! She’s super sweet and loves to cuddle and greet everyone. Please let us know before your stay if you do not feel comfortable with this! * We live on a busy road and there is noise from traffic when you are in the office or living room.* PLENTY of parking! Use of the kitchen available. Please provide your own food.. we will clean off a shelf or two in the refrigerator for you by request. Use of living room area is available. Master bedroom and basement are OFF LIMITS! Please try to keep your shoes in the mudroom if it has rained. Our floors are original and we would like to keep them around for another 80 years! :) When we travel to Airbnbs we like to have our own space. If there is anything you need please let us know! Forget a toothbrush? No problem! Just ask and I am sure we can help you out! I will provide a print out with local restaurants and attractions. You can also view my guidebook on Airbnb where I have recommend quite a few restaurants and things to do in surrounding towns! We do live on a busy road and there is noise from traffic when you are in the living room*** Traveling by car is probably your best option but there are a few local parks nearby you can ride your bike to. Uber is also an option. If you bring bikes there are plenty of areas to bike around Milford and surrounding towns! Check in time during the week is at 4pm. Check in during the weekend in flexible and depends on what time we are working. If you have a time in mind just shoot me a message I usually am able to accommodate to guests times.
