Enjoy the tranquility of tropical rural living in a stand-alone cottage, with a fully fenced garden, located at the front of a 5 acre property. Just off the Arnhem highway, the cottage is close to shops and is a gateway to Kakadu, popular fishing locations as well as being close to Litchfield and other attractions. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, a well stocked bookshelf and lots of board games for you to enjoy. A great place for you to relax and unwind. Well maintained tropical living accommodation. Lots of space to park caravan, camper trailer or boat with a double undercover carport and large own fenced yard. In the dry season enjoy a drink around a fireplace and the peaceful surroundings. It is the perfect place for couples, groups, small family or solo person. There are horses, chickens, 2 cats and a friendly dog who reside at the back of the property. From the lounge room window you may see the horses that you are welcome to pat. Full kitchen facilities with outside BBQ and washing machine. Fully air-conditioned throughout. Electric gate- guests will have a remote and have own entrance to cottage. Loss/non return of remote $50 We live in the main house at the back of property (approx. 75 -100 mtrs away) with trees in between. Whilst the cottage is completely private, we are very happy to assist guests in any way we can . Friendly and quiet neighbourhood. 5 minutes drive to Humpty Doo Shopping centre, 4 minutes to Humpty Doo Pub, 10 minutes to Coolalinga shopping centre, 15/20 minutes drive to Palmerston, 35 minutes to Darwin Centre. Is ideal situation to visit Kakadu National Park, Litchfield or Berry Springs. You will need a car to get around as only school bus service going past our place. We do have animals: 1 little dog called Scribbles who is very friendly but only after she has stopped feeling scared of you and 1 larger black dog called Missy who is friendlier. Missy came from Jilkminggan community after our daughter brought her home following a work trip with the local vet. We also have 2 cats, chickens and 2 horses who are also very friendly and love carrots.
