Private Unit on Farm with Kitchen & Balcony

The Herrington Suite is a private-entry apartment located on the first floor of our historic carriage house. Your stay will bring you to Haley Farm, a 65-acre inn and retreat center located just minutes from the lake. It includes a kitchen, sitting area, bedroom and ensuite bath with a LARGE jetted tub and walk-in shower. It also has a balcony overlooking the pond and farm. Your suite included a king-sized bed and attached bath. All linens and towels are provided. The kitchen is equipped with coffee, tea, microwave, oven, fridge etc. The sitting room includes an electric fireplace and TV with DVD player and DirecTV. You are welcome to walk around the farm and see the horses and free-roaming chickens or pet one of the farm cats. Deep Creek Lake is a gorgeous area in Western Maryland. We have the lake, state parks, golf courses and more. You are surrounded by nature. You will be given a code to get into your suite. No one else has access to your suite while you are there. I live on the premises and you may see me around gardening or attending to other farm duties. You can reach me by text or phone. The Deep Creek Lake area is a four-season vacation destination. There are lake activities in the summer - swimming, kayaking, fishing. Beautiful foliage in the fall and snow skiing in the winter. All are very close to the premises. Other activities include golf, horseback riding, hiking and plenty of excellent local restaurants. You will need to drive as there is little in the way of public transportation. We recommend bringing a four wheel drive in the winter as there is plenty of snow. In view of Covid 19, there has been much anxiety about traveling. Garrett County, being fairly remote with a low population density, has had very few cases. Your suite with a private outdoor entrance will make it easy to maintain social distancing and we have implemented strict cleaning and sanitizing practices with spacing between guests stays.
