Easy 2 hr drive from Sydney, 7 hrs from Melbourne, 1 hr to Canberra. Great stopover en route and base for exploring Goulburn, Bungonia NP and Wombeyan Caves. We have lovingly restored this 1930's cottage retaining some period features whilst also ensuring comfort with insulation throughout and air-conditioning to ensure a quiet and relaxing stay. With spacious bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a butler's pantry, sunny verandah, and surrounded by roses when in season, you will feel relaxed and restful whilst also in a central location able to explore close to home or far and wide. Guests have access to all the spaces within the house. We operate as a family team and have assistance on the ground in Goulburn if help is required at any time. It enjoys historic charm from its long history as well as providing an opportunity to explore the natural beauty of nearby Bungonia National Park and Wombeyan and Abercrombie limestone cave reserve areas. Plus it's conveniently located to Canberra, Sydney and the Southern Highlands, as well as being as a fabulous stopover from Melbourne people heading north. The property is quiet but close to the centre of town and 1.5 kilometres from Goulburn Railway station and bus interchanges. Workgroups welcome.
