Tranquil farm setting in a unique and historic country home from circa 1848 with traditional features and beautiful views - near Amy Gillett Bike track & local wineries -e.g. Bird in Hand, Barristers Block, & Andersons etc. A private space with upstairs bedroom leading to private balcony and sitting area . A downstairs dining room for breakfast, with fridge, and tea/ coffee machine and breakfast provisions. We regret no pets and have zero tolerance for alcohol related behaviour or violence. Upstairs one double bedroom with Queen size bed and 1 bedroom with a king single bed and bathroom overlooking farm. Downstairs there is a lounge room ( with TV and fireplace ) and dining room for breakfast. Swimming pool outside and beautiful in summer. Main front door, key lock code. When needed Quiet with lovely views of farm Playground on Newman Road Eateries in Lobethal , Charleston and Woodside Good for day trips to the Barossa Valley, Murray River and Adelaide Hills wineries and cheese factory. Bus leaves from near Charleston or Woodside to the city daily around 7.20 a.m ( Bus 830F) or alternatively from Verdun frequently We aim to provide a relaxing and calm space for anyone needing a break or needing to experience the country, whether in summer at the pool, in autumn viewing the beautiful array of colour, in spring with our beautiful daffodils or in winter next to the fire. Melba’s chocolate factory and local cheese factory in Woodside are well worth a visit as well as Hahndorf and the Birdwood Motor Museum. The Barossa Valley is under an hours drive and the towns of Tanunda, Angaston, and Nurioopta are well worth a visit as well as countless famous wineries in the area, for example, Seppeltsfield, Peter Lehman, Wolf Blass, Jacobs Creek and Yalumba. Bikes are available for hire from Woodside and the Amy Gillett bike track is easily accessible for keen cyclists with Charleston Parkrun being a keen favourite on Saturday mornings for runners. There are a variety of country markets and events which occur regularly e.g Oakbank racing carnival over Easter, the Tour Down under during January and the Barossa Vintage Festival in April. We look forward to meeting you.......and showing you this part of the Adelaide Hills ( Adelaide's best kept secret.)
