Traditional cottage, lovingly renovated with modern fresh appeal. Lounge to front, kitchen and separate dining room to rear. Upstairs main bedroom with king sized bed at front of property, landing leading to bathroom and Twin Bedroom at the rear. PLEASE NOTE… If you book for 2 guests we will assume you’re a couple and only make up the King Size bed in the main bedroom. If you book for 3 guests again we will assume you’re a couple plus one other person and therefore we will make up the king size bed and ONE of the singles If you book as a 4 all beds will be made up. If you require DIFFERENT sleeping arrangements please tell us at the time of booking so we can set up the cottage accordingly. We may not be able to accommodate you if you require a different set up upon arrival without prior warning. Likewise the travel cot and stair gates won’t be in place unless you request them. No bedding is supplied for the travel cot for hygiene reasons. Thanks This property is an end terrace with large enclosed garden and lockable storage for bikes / buggies etc You have access to the entire property during your stay (except the loft!) Off road parking We operate a self check in / check out system mainly for your convenience as travelling can be unpredictable. We are however usually not far away should you encounter any issues and we will endeavour to pop our heads through the door during your stay. Personal mobile number will be issued upon booking when directions to the property and key safe info are sent. We are 1 mile from Lowick Village which has 2 pubs and a wee shop. There’s a fuel garage just 10 mins away on A1 and the market town of Wooler is only a 20 minute drive, which hosts, restaurants, cash machine, mini supermarket and traditional shops. It’s also the gateway to the Northumberland National Park. You’ll definitely need a car as we are quite remote. However there is a local bus that shuttles between Wooler and Berwick and comes into the village of Lowick. Bring your bike...we are blessed with quiet country roads with magnificent views. We have secure storage for bikes and a hose pipe for washing them down! We don’t allow smoking or vaping ANYWHERE inside or OUTSIDE the property i.e. in its grounds. This is due to the proximity of the heating oil tank and the associated fire risk. Any guest found to be breaking this rule will be asked to leave immediately. There is a small supply of essentials such as hand soap, cleaning fluids, cloths, toilet roll (2), kitchen roll, washing machine capsules, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid. This is approx enough for a 2-3 night stay depending on number of guests staying, after these initial supplies run out guests should provide their own. Towels and bed linen (no bedding for travel cot) all provided and a small initial supply of tea, coffee, sugar, hot choc, biscuits, fresh milk in fridge and a bottle of wine is also provided.
