STREET VIEW-SINGLE QUEEN-SHARED BATH ROOM 1

126 sq. ft 'Room One' features a single queen-sized bed. The room sits at the front of the hotel. The two over-sized windows give a view of the town and Anvil Mountain. This room is perfect for two people. The room utilizes the men and women shared bathrooms, and robes are provided for in-hotel use. All Teller House rooms are located up one flight of stairs on the first floor of the building. Due to it's historical status, Teller House does not have an elevator. Teller House is a strictly non-smoking, pet-free establishment. We offer altogether 8 individually and elegantly styled rooms showcasing Vitorian era decor. There is a common reception area and visiting room where guests can enjoy complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate facilities. We do not provide breakfast, however there is a guest fridge, microwave, toaster and one-use cutlery/plates. Guests can also enjoy our complimentary wi-fi throughout the entire hotel, our visiting room TV, library collection and large assortment of board and other games. Because we have a flexible self check-in and check-out process, we welcome guests to contact us with special check-in and check-out requirements. Please observe that formal check-in is 2:00pm-8:00pm and check-out is prior to 10.30am. Instructions for check-in and -out can be found at the front desk. Guests that have not checked-in by 8:00pm of the arrival date forfeit their reservation, without refund, unless prior contact with management has been made. Likewise, with respect to our cleaners, check-out violators will be charged a fee of $30/hour until 2:00pm, and after 2:00pm, 100% of the room rate, if prior arrangements have not been made with management. NO-SHOW guests will be held responsible for their rooms, with 100% charge. ELEVATION:The town of Silverton is 9300 ft above sea level, one of it's special attractions. We do not provide refunds for altitude sickness. NO ELEVATOR: The Teller House Hotel is a historical property that does NOT have an elevator, and is located on the second floor. NO AIR CONDITIONING: The Teller House Hotel is a historical property that does NOT have air conditioning. Each room has large windows that can be opened and, at least, a desk fan. This is adequate for most guests and conditions. Extra fans are available upon request. HEATING: A beautiful, period coal furnace heats the bulding via wall-mounted water elements which can add charming pipe music and whistling during circulation. This is quite normal. Some rooms also contain extra electric heating. However, please ask should you require an extra heater for your room.
