Blue Boy. A place to relax and lift your spirits!

Blue Boy ( under new management) is a bright, sunny chalet with an artistic feel, nestling in the dunes at Gwithian Sands. There are many unique handmade and upcycled quirky touches to delight all ages. The chalet is on a small family-run site, a safe haven for children to play and grown ups to unwind. It is in the ideal location for a relaxing holiday or a great base from which to visit Cornwall's many attractions... The bright, sunny interior has an open plan living space with wooden floors and a retro feel. The fully equipped kitchen includes cooker, fridge with ice box above, microwave, toaster, kettle etc . Included are essentials like tea towels, oven gloves, etc as well as a welcome pack. There is a family dining table to enjoy your meals and a highchair can be provided on request. The lounge has a large comfortable sofa and armchair, a flat screen tv, dvd player , radio and lots of books and games. There are 2 bedrooms, one double room and one double room with full size bunk beds. All beds have duvets, pillows and freshly laundered mattress and pillow protectors. Please bring your own linen as required. Let me know if you would like a travel cot. The chalet has electric wall heaters and electricity is supplied via a key which can be charged locally. The bathroom has a walk in electric shower, wash basin, wc and fan heater. A bath mat and hand towel are provided . There is a small shop and laundry as you drive in. Arrival 2pm/ Departure 10am Guests can arrive any time after 2pm and you can make yourselves at home on arrival with a key code. I live locally so if there are any problems or you would like any assistance I can be with you within 10 minutes. The huge expanse of Hayle, Gwithian and Godrevy beaches forms the largest continuous sandy beach in Cornwall stretching over three miles in length Hayle train station is 2 miles Newquay airport 32 miles Local busses pass the chalet. There is plenty of parking adjacent to the chalet. Please note bookings are from Sat-Sat but where possible other arrival days can be arranged. Strictly no dogs during July/August Electricity via a paid key which can be charged locally. Average £20 p/w Prices quoted are for 2019 only.
