Historic cottage originally built in 1937 as a fruit pickers hut. Now lovingly restored into a cosy, charming little home with all the creature comforts of this century. Our Cottage is secluded in a bush setting, with lovely views from the front verandah. Two ensuited bedrooms. Suitable for a romantic getaway, or a wine tasting weekend for two couples, small families and adventure seekers. Kitchen, Nespresso coffee machine, warm, authentic open fireplace and air conditioning. Uncovered parking. Blue Wren Cottage is secluded, although it shares a boundary with our other houses, the Barn, and Kookaburra Cottage, it is 100 metres away. Open fireplace. Air con. 2 Ensuited bedrooms. Free wi-fi The property is 50 acres and guests are welcome to walk around the property directly behind Blue Wren and across the left field is our boundary. Great coffee and food located 300 metres away in the village of Ballandean, at St Judes Cellar Door and Cafe, the Bakery and the Ballandean Tavern. Guests may walk the property, however, access to the Barn and Kookaburra Cottage is only for the guests of those accommodations Our caretakers, Larry and Sue Anderson will be available for any assistance or maintenance. Very quiet, relaxed and friendly neighborhood. A short walk to the tavern and village of Ballandean, where you will find Fonzi Abbott coffee at St Judes Cellar Door and Cafe. Surrounded by some excellent wineries. Girraween National park nearby for the most amazing hikes! Try The Pyramid at sunset for an unforgettable experience (if you’re fit and agile). You need your own car. Wine tours recommended. Shared driveway with The Barn , proceed through the main gate on Eukey Rd and keeping left, drive around and up to the cottage which is at the back of the property. Water supply is 100% tank supply, safe for drinking. Please conserve water.
