Arbach is a village in the German Volcanic Eifel. On the edge of the picturesque village is a ridge with our detached holiday home, in the middle of the forest. The house is fully equipped. The house has 4 bedrooms for rent. On the first floor two times a 3-person family room and a 2-person room. In addition, there are 2 baby cots available. On the ground floor there is another 4-person room with a bunk bed and a double bed. Every room has running water, except the room on the ground floor. Bathroom. There are 2 bathrooms. The bathroom upstairs has a shower and a bathtub, the bathroom in the basement has only a shower. Washing options. There is a washing machine, dryer and a washer-dryer combination. Sauna. A Swedish sauna with 3 loungers or 8 seats. The cinema has 12 seats. Several DVDs are available. Furthermore, a chromecast is connected so that you can watch movies with your own streaming service fitness. The fitness has a treadmill, exercise bike, rowing machine, bench press, pully, suspension cord, dumbells and kettlebells. Wine cellar. The wine cellar has a wide range of mainly German wines, which may be used. Of course this will be charged separately at regular prices. Outdoor kitchen. The outdoor kitchen contains a large wood-fired pizza oven. And two separate induction hobs that can be used. Of course, a BBQ cannot be missing from the facilities. Kitchen. Fully equipped. In addition to a 4-burner induction hob and oven, it also contains a catering quality pizza oven. A Kitchen-aid, immersion blender Dinner table. The house contains enough crockery for 16 people plus some plastic plates and cups for the small children. The table is 4.5 meters long and therefore offers enough space to dine. Children's facilities. We have two camping cots (with bedding), two high chairs, a trip-trap chair and of course a toilet seat reducer. There are also many toys available for all ages. Living room. We have a cozy living room with a wood-burning stove and a coffee table made from a log from the forest. Playground. The on-site playground has 2 trampolines, a tree house with a double slide and a cable car is available. Parking is possible at the house. There is space on site for 2 cars. Other cars can park in the parking lot at Hotel Restaurant Arbach. parking. There is a bus service in Arbach. However, it doesn't run very often. Please refer to the current timetable for this. From Arbach you can discover the entire Volcano Eifel. To the south you will find the famous tourist town of Cochem from where you can discover the Moselle. To the north is Nürburg known of course for the Nürburgring. The area is also known for its nature with many beautiful hiking areas. But mountain biking and rock climbing is also possible here. For the children there is a beautiful wildlife park, several amusement parks and of course swimming pools. And for the older children go karting at the Nürburgring and for the adults numerous vineyards where you can taste delicious wines. Of course you can also eat out well, such as at Arbach.! The house is not finished yet. It has taken a lot of time and energy to refurbish the house and the surrounding forest. It has also brought us many great memories, as we did not do it alone, but with the help of family and friends. However, a house is never completely finished, not even this house. There is still a lot that needs to be done. Because the house is not yet finished, we have decided to give a discount on the rent. In order not to create false expectations, we give an overview of the things that still need to be done. Our “To do list” The exterior facade. At the moment there are different styles in the exterior facade. Where there is now wood, stones must come with a window. The entire facade must then be given a nice stucco layer. The terrace. The stones on the terrace are skewed and skewed. A part must be raised and everything must be straightened. The garden. Seen from the living room, down the hill, are a pile of logs and branches. These all need to be cleaned up. At the same time, a path is formed through the forest with wood chips The swimming pool. The house has an indoor pool. It still needs to be renovated in its entirety. So it cannot be used. The shower in the basement. The (extra) shower in the basement is functional but absolutely not beautiful. This one needs a major overhaul. The idea is also to place a steam room here. Although we have a lot of equipment for children. The house and garden are nog fully child friendly yet.
