"The Old Church" Air bnb

Our wonderful home is a converted Catholic Church, built in 1954 which we were lucky enough to buy in 1996. It offers a unique and special stay, full of character with a peaceful atmosphere. A great place to spend time relaxing or exploring the beautiful area we live in. To add to this Café 77 is situated right across the road in what was once the old derelict Manawaru Dairy Factory. They are open from 8 am to 3 pm daily and we can highly recommend! The Air BNB area has its own entrance, bathroom, toilet and the spacious front area which offers lounge, dining area, kitchenette with fridge, inverter microwave, electric frypan which doubles as a slow cooker, use of the BBQ and tea, coffee, toaster etc available. A separate bedroom with queen size bed opens on to the courtyard. If you are travelling with family or friends there is room for extra guests. There are two king single beds in the open area and an extra two beds can be set up if required. It is very private from our home and would also include the courtyard area for your private use should you like to relax in this space. All linen is provided so there is no need to bring anything with you. Cleaning is included in the nightly rate. There is a private entrance for guests directly into the suite and it is totally closed off from our home. Parking is directly outside of this entrance so really easy access to come and go at your convenience. We are respectful of your needs during your stay and available to offer advice on our area, tramping & walking options and being keen cyclists and mountain-bikers, some great tips on rides to do in our region. We are located on the Cycle Trail, linking the historic town of Te Aroha, through to Matamata, the starting point for tours to the Shire and the world class tourist attraction of Hobbition. This is a new addition to the cycle trails in the region which link to the breathtaking Karangahake Gorge. We are just 10 minutes by car toTe Aroha, an old Spa town, offering silky mineral water hot pools unique to New Zealand. Matamata the gateway to Hobbition is 20 minutes drive from our home. Located on the Cycle Trail on Manawaru Road with both Te Aroha, Matamata & Morrinsville nearby where a variety of Cafes, Restaurants and Takeaway shops are available. Cleaning is included in the highly rate.
