"A modern home in the small country town of Rangiora, an easy 30km drive from Ch Ch & airport. A day trip away to many Canterbury attractions. Upstairs suite, King size bed, ensuite, fold down single bed available, suit child or small adult. Sitting room, flat screen TV & DVD, dining/kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, jug, toaster and toasted sandwich maker. BBQ available Off street parking A 5-8 minute walk to town centre with coffee shops, restaurants, a cinema and more. Close to beaches, rivers, and walking /cycling tracks. Very handy for day trips - Hanmer Springs & skifields approx. hour and half Kaikoura, Akaroa & Arthurs Pass 2hrs away You will share the same entrance as we use but your space is a separate upstairs area. You are welcome to enjoy time in our garden. Happy to answer any questions you may have. We will respect your privacy, however if you wish to spend time with us or our garden you will be welcomed We are very close to central Rangiora places to shop, dine, drink coffee, (watch the bees making honey), or take in a movie and dine before or after all within a 8-10min walk. If you have the time a great experience is to watch harness racing horses training at low tide at Pegasus Beach. Or watch fishermen trying their luck at Kairaki - the mouth of the Waimakariri River. Walking or cycling, there is much to do and see. There is a regular bus service to Christchurh city just one block away, this is a great alternative to visit the city. However driving is also a good option as we are so close to many attractions. Just ask we will endeavour to help Please note, the kitchenette is only suitable for preparing light meals, and does not have a sink. However there is a basin and washing up products provided. We are very happy to do your dishes for you if that's what you prefer. We do not allow guests to use our kitchen, but we do have a small bbq for your use, just ask. Our small dog Molly will let us know when you arrive. She likes to say hello but is not allowed upstairs but she does try.
