The Church House, a quaint character filled home overlooks the swimming hole. With 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a huge open plan living area and special outside places you can bring your friends or family. The houses in Hinchinbrook Hideaway are set in a peaceful rural setting nestled on the banks of Five Mile Creek. Enjoy abundant wildlife, great places to swim, walk and explore. Each house has a bbq, fish cleaning table and fire pit. About 10 minutes from boat ramp, hire, & cafes in Cardwell. The Church House is one of 4 houses set in the Hinchinbrook Hideaway which is on about 70 acres nestled on the banks of Five Mile Creek. The rooms generally are large and there are air conditioners in the 3 downstairs bedrooms, some ceiling fans & standing fans, a fire place, internal decks, an external deck and wide open verandas. It is rural setting with open lawns, a mango orchard, an exotic orchard and natural creek flats as well as bushland. You will find some shared spaces such as the Creek Pavilion and swimming hole as well as the walking tracks. Guests will need their own transportation and there is ample room for parking cars, bikes or boats. The main road into the hideaway is an all weather gravel road. If you would like a tour of the property our hosts can be available. The Church House has the swimming hole behind it as well as a shared space called The Pavilion. There is plenty of parking and outside spaces including walks. The dog enclosure is fully fenced and adjoins the veranda on one side of the house.
