Harper's Cottage located in historic Berrima.
Harper's Cottage, built circa 1834, is one of three original buildings built in Berrima by James Harper, an early settler. This quaint brick and stone cottage features 2 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen/dining room, bathroom, laundry and outdoor entertaining area. It has one double bed and two single beds. The cottage is equipped for self catering and comes with provisions for a hot breakfast. It has ample off street parking and outside barbecue and eating areas in a large landscaped garden. Breakfast provisions include, eggs, bacon, salmon, bread, butter, milk, jams and spreads, fruit juice, fresh fruit and tea and coffee making facilities. Wine, chocolates, cheese and biscuits greet you on arrival. We do not meet and greet guests. Keys to the property are located in a key safe on the property. Berrima is a small, historic village, located on the Old Hume Highway in the Southern Highlands. It is close to three larger towns, Mittagong, Bowral and Moss Vale. There are many cafes, restaurants, shops and nearby wineries, as well as the National Trust Property, Harper's Mansion and the Old Court House. Most people arrive in Berrima by car. There are picnic areas, walking tracks and many restaurants, cafes and shops. Unfortunately, due to too many issues with dogs barking, extra cleaning required, we are no longer pet friendly.
