Greenmount Chalet close to airport, wineries & CBD

A new modern one bedroom chalet set on 1.5 acres. Located in Greenmount opposite John Forest National Park. A tranquil space to retreat, rest, think and spend some time away from busy life of urban areas in Perth. Growing up in the Swan Valley I am keen to share with you some of my local favourite places to visit. My formal career being in early education and nursing I’m a host that likes to nurture new parents by hosting them and their new born baby when opportunities present. Walk trails at the back door for your convenience. Walking distance to Swan View Tunnel. A short drive to historical Mundaring Weir. Close to the heart of the Swan Valley. Take your time to visit the beautiful winery region for lunch, plan your day touring the regions artisans and fine foods. If you like an up close interaction with wildlife while having a quiet drink then John Forest Tavern is a 8 minute drive east from here. Kangaroos do visit this property primarily in the evening. There is kangaroo food to hand feed them. Please remember they are wild animals, respect their space and your own safety. A breakfast basket of eggs, bacon and assortment of breakfast treats can be arranged for an additional $30 per person - please let me know when you book and I will leave a breakfast basket ready for you in your fridge. We welcome people from all backgrounds 😀 particularly loved having overseas guests spending longer stays so we get to learn a little about their country also. We have been blessed to have had some returning guests which is wonderful. You are welcome to take a swim in the pool and there are pool towels available in the wooden box inside the pool area or hanging ready for you on the pool fence - just help yourself to any of these. Please feel free to wonder through the pool gates and vegetable garden beds to view the chickens and our rescue duck 18 year old Kaki. At the front of the property is where the sheep 🐑🐏 are depending on the season. Please do not enter this paddock. We keep beehives here. 🐝🐝🐝. In summer the sheep are moved for breeding and feeding to another property in the Swan Valley. We live in the main house that is separate to the chalet. We are at work in and out of a day but always contactable by mobile. Happy to chat if you are around for a few days and would like to know a little more about the Swan Valley and Perth Hills. The neighborhood is relaxed and friendly with an abundance of wildlife.🦔🐿🐇🐝🦉🦅🦆🦋🐞 Directly opposite John Forest National Park 🌲🌲🌲🌲and overlooking the Darling Ranges. Please remember while the kangaroos here are friendly and at times can be hand fed they are wild animals. They come and go as they please from the National Park. Please provide them their space. The airport is very close, 14km (12 minute drive). While staying at Greenmount Chalet your easiest option is by car and there is a car hire at the bottom of the hill 🚗 but there is a bus at the end of the street for direct transport to Midland, Perth city, Fremantle and Mundaring. There is a train line 🚞from Midland that is easy to navigate. The train line is one line that runs directly to the City and on to Fremantle. Parking at Midland then catching the train is a great option and a good way to explore. When you first connect to the internet you may need to have the front door open of the Chalet if you are with the Optus network. Once connected you should have no problem 👍
