Modern Flats in Kendwa - Wambaa Garden I

Wambaa Garden Flats is a residential complex located in Kendwa-Nungwi. We have different sizes of studio apartments for short and long term rent, suitable for solo travellers, couples, families, and friends. They are all private, self-contained, furnished, modern and stylish. Karibu (welcome)! Equipped with AC, this is a master studio with one double bed and one single bed (or two double beds, on request). It is suitable for up to 3 or 4 people - couples, families or a group of friends. This is a very spacious unit and it features a kitchen, a bathroom, a comfortable sleeping area, a sitting area, and a private balcony. Indulge yourself in one of the many restaurants in the village or at the beach or feel free to cook your own meal, as you would do at home - all flats have a practical kitchen equipped with a fridge, gas cooker, kettle, pans, plates, and cutlery. Bedsheets and towels are provided. Guests have access to the rooftop terrace from where you can see the ocean and watch both sunrise and sunset. Our garden is filled with tropical trees and fresh papaya is always available for breakfast - just grab yours. We are a Brazilian-Zanzibari family, proud to be living our dream and raising our baby girl in this beautiful island. We will meet you for check-in and check-out and we are always available to talk, show you around and offer some local insights about life in Zanzibar. Kendwa is the best location in Zanzibar - the beach is absolutely amazing and always perfect for a swim (it doesn’t matter if the tide is high or low), the sunset is always spectacular and there are lots of options of restaurants and shops in the area. Wambaa Garden is located just a short walk to the beach (10 minutes), close to some of the most famous hotels in the area: Zuri, Kendwa Rocks and Sunset. The North Valley International Hospital is just across the road from us and there are some local grocery shops on the road. It is very easy to get to Wambaa Garden Flats. We are located in Kendwa, close to Zuri Hotel. Coming from Stone Town, take Nungwi Road. Then, when you reach Kendwa, DON'T take the road towards Kendwa Rocks Hotel. TAKE THE NEXT ONE - turn left at the Zuri Hotel sign. Keep going for a few meters and you'll us on your left side. We have a black gate on a rock wall and a sign of "APARTMENT TO RENT" on the road. We use 4G internet and we have a portable modem available for your use. Please note that internet is prepaid by voucher - we'll give you all the directions to top it up. Kindly be aware that there are no ATMs or banks in Kendwa and most restaurants and shops do not accept credit card. We recommend that you use the ATMs at the airport or Stone Town before coming to the north. Also, please note that electricity is an expensive and limited resource on the island. Please make sure the AC is off when you are not inside the room.
