Beautiful ancestral Acadian house, with sea views, surrounded by fields and woodland, 5 minutes walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in the area, and a 10 minute drive from the village of Bonaventure. Comfortable beds with new mattresses, two wood stoves + electric heating, large bath on legs, fully equipped kitchen... It offers both the charm of the old houses and the modern comforts. Built in 1875 by the Babin family in the traditional Acadian architectural style, our house is among the oldest in the village of Bonaventure. It has been restored with respect to the original spirit: Cedar shingles, woodwork, Bélanger wood stove, wooden staircases... with a colorful and modern touch! Large living room with wood stove, 2 bathrooms, one with shower and bath, fully equipped kitchen with built-in oven, electric cooker, microwave and space for storing your food. You have access to the patio and the courtyard without restriction. Parking space for several vehicles. We will be available for you if you need us, or we will make sure someone reliable is available if we cannot be. You will need a car to get around. Bus passes 3 times daily. Owners live in a trailer on the property during the summer. They keep an access to a storage room in the house to which they can access directly from outside.
