Relax in a calm, stylish space. In a village location in the Broads National Park, its an ideal centre for walking, boating, cycling, fishing or birdwatching. Our comfortable flat is a mixture of old world style and modern amenities. Its open plan space is easy to relax in while the bedrooms give privacy and peace. This idyllic Broads village has pubs and eating places galore. There is plenty to do and see and its an ideal base to tour the Broads, Norwich and the Norfolk and Suffolk coasts. This first floor flat is in one of the oldest buildings in the village, possibly dating back 500 years. It combines old world beams and charm with modern fittings. It has a warm and comfortable open plan living and dining room with a well equipped kitchenette at one end. The two bedrooms - one with a king size bed and the other with two single beds - are spacious with high ceilings (but watch out for the low doorways, you may bump your head!). The whole flat has been recently refurbished and decorated. There is on street, permit free parking outside the building and along the High Street. There is also a pay and display car park 200 yards away from the flat. Loddon is 12 miles from Norwich and easily accessible from the A146. There are regular bus services to Norwich and to the nearby market town of Beccles (7 miles) and beyond to Lowestoft and the sea (16 miles). The village has 4 dining pubs, a supermarket, post office and a number of restaurants, takeaways, cafes and shops. Its a centre for Norfolk Broads tourism, boat hire, cycling, fishing, birdwatching and walking - its a stop on the Wherryman's Way. We don't live in the village but can be with you in half an hour if you need us This prizewinning unspoilt village is one of the centres of the Norfolk Broads National Park. Its a thriving village with a bustling centre with pubs, cafes, eating places and local businesses. While it has life it is not noisy and there are many areas of tranquility including the river, meadow walks and the beautiful churchyard in the centre. Travel no more than twenty miles in any direction and you will find plenty to do and see, whether its sightseeing in Norwich with its medieval buildings and cathedral, exploring Norfolk's market towns and villages or taking a trip to the coast. There is free on street parking outside the apartment and a pay and display car park in the centre of the village 200 metres away. There are frequent bus services in to Norwich and towards the pretty town of Beccles and onwards to Lowestoft and the coast. From Beccles you can take the train to Ipswich and Norwich station (12 miles away) has rail links to the North Norfolk coast, Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth and Cambridge as well as the main line to London. There is room to store bikes securely on the ground floor but there is no outside space to sit in.
