Tranquil Loft Double Bed; South London

Peaceful loft space with double bed in an Edwardian neighbourhood within 25 min to Central London. Currently female guests only, as shared spaces including living area, kitchen and secluded garden. On street parking except 10-12 weekdays (£2/day otherwise). Please note two flights of stairs to rooms. There is also a gym and swimming pool nearby. Please see my additional listing if you need another room. I am open to longer stays or for someone needing a "work from home" space. The loft space consists of 2 bedrooms, a shared bathroom and a landing area with desk. During the current Covid situation, only one room will be rented at a time. There is a Smart TV with Wifi connected. Please note that loft space is on the second floor and accessed via two flights of stairs. The bedroom is quiet and overlooking the garden. Beckenham is a quiet residential area with a vibrant high street, well connected for transport and plenty of parks. Currently limited access to kitchen or living areas downstairs, due to the Covid situation. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. You have full access to the secluded garden and summer house. Please message if you have any questions. I work during the day on weekdays in a college or from home but am happy to talk when I am home and give any advice. Usually have my phone on. The neighbourhood is residential with Edwardian buildings and is in London zone 4 so quite quick by public transport to central areas. All neighbours are very friendly and helpful. The house is also only 5 min walk to station to go to Central London. Vibrant high street with lots of restaurants, supermarkets and parks. If driving very easy to get to M25 south side. The scenery is typical English. Not far from here you can quickly access North downs if you are cycling enthusiast and places like Charles Darwins Place or Churchills House. There is also a gym (Spa) and swimming pool within walking distance and similarly for parks and tennis courts. Well connected by public transport of trains and buses. Central London is only 20-25 min by train (London Bridge, Waterloo, Charing Cross, Black Friars, Cannon Street). There is also trams to Croydon and Wimbledon. From East Croydon, London Gatwick airport is very close (15 min train ride). Beckenham itself has nice highstreet with lots of eating places and great parks with lakes. There is also a tram to East Croydon/Wimbledon. If visiting the coast like Brighton then trains also leave from East Croydon. Also this place is great for cyclists to have easy access to beautiful English countryside and for the keen cyclists 50 miles ride down to the south coast. I am currently only able to take female guests, due to our house situation. We do have a cat but it mostly stays out or comes to the kitchen. The Cat does not go upstairs to any of the bedrooms.
