A peaceful, safe & secure haven in West Yorkshire

Situated between Kirkburton and Fenay Bridge, this centrally-heated & fully self-contained bungalow provides a convenient base for visiting all over Yorkshire - from the beautiful scenery of the Pennine Hills, to the National Sculpture Park, The National Armouries, shops & restaurants in Leeds, and historic York - with its' Railway Museum, Jorvik Centre, Castle and 1,400 year-old Minster. The property is in securely- gated grounds with ample parking space. Whilst there is a lock-box, we are usually around and prefer to welcome Guests so that we can show them "the ropes". The whole bungalow plus rear patio (a sun-trap) - secure parking available at front. Sally & Brian (your hosts) will try and make you feel very welcome. Basic breakfast (coffee, tea, & cereals etc) will be available - and the kitchen is fully-equipped for self-catering. There are also several local pubs and restaurants that offer food (and drinks) within walking distance. Set in quiet grounds near to the beautiful Pennines, but with easy access to nearby towns and villages. Many local country pubs & eateries Bus-stop 100m away offering regular & easy access to Huddersfield & train station (3 miles) away. Trains to Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, York, Newcastle frequently available. Freesat TV, & Wifi included.
