Lucy's BnB

It's a two story home. Bottom apartment is where I will be staying. Upstairs apartment will be for guests. Huge master bedroom with queen size bed for two people and two extra rooms that accommodate two people each at a lower rate of €10 per night each person. Fully equipped kitchen. Wrap around porch on two sides of home good for sitting or even having breakfast. Apartment and bedroom very spacious. Nice living-room for just relaxing and watching TV. N° de Alojamento local : AL 835 The house is 1 minute walk to supermarket. Near by there are 3 bars and one restaurant. It is a 20 minute walk to centre of Madalena. A 15 minute walk to Quinta Das Rosas park. Various trails for wonderful walks. The supermarket opens at 8.30 a.m. and closes at 8 p.m. except Sundays opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m. There is a coffee shop and knick knack shop in supermarket. Atmosphera restaurant is right next door alo. Serves wonderful food . Guests have the veranda with a view of the mountain and Faial. Laundry is done by homeowner Lucy as a complmentary. I believe when you are on holidays you shouldn't be worried about laundry. My husband and I will usually be around the house to help with any question the guests have. We are very interested in meeting people from around the globe. I Lucy can be reached at all times on my cell. Very nice neighbourhood. Nice neighbours. Everyone is very helpful. House is easy to find. You have a view of Sao Jorge, Faial and mountain. Joe grows grapes in backyard so he has his mini vine yard. If you like to walk you can get to many sites on foot. To see the whole island it is best to rent a car or a guide. It is also possible to tour the island by bus but not possible to stop and see sights as bus does its route once a day around island. Joe and I will be glad to also show you around or give tours of island. There are towels, linen, shampoo, toilet paper, hair dryer. Bed has orthopedic matress for better night sleep.This bnb is registered as AL #835
