Casa de Quinta

The gate house is located on a wine estate, surrounded by vineyards and slow-paced Portuguese village life. The estate includes several hectares of vineyard and is located immediately adjacent to one of the Camino de Santiago paths. Our gate house has been lovingly restored to accommodate travelers from around the world in a comfortable manner. Enjoy a stroll through the vineyards, or lounge by the pool and the sauna. We are always available to make your stay with us an enjoyable and relaxing one. If there are any questions or if you are looking for any recommendations or tips please do not hesitate to let us know. The Quinta is located in the older part of the city of Maia, immediately adjacent to the centuries-old village church as well as the Zoo. The city center of Maia is only an approx. 5-8 minute walk away. There you will find restaurants, cafés and stores, as well as a Metro train station for an easy connection to nearby cities and to the center of Porto. The estate is located approximately 10km from Oporto and approximately 5 km from Oporto International airport A taxi ride from the airport should cost around 10 Euros and we recommend taking the Metro to Porto and other surrounding cities. If you prefer to travel by car we have plenty of free parking across the street. Our dogs roam free around the vineyard and will happily accept petting and kind words once you have been introduced by their owners. Please take care when entering and leaving the premises not to let them out of the gate, and please do not feed them... they will not stray from your side otherwise.
