One-of-a-kind ex-military glamping hut, farm stay

Connie is an ex-military trailer that we have converted for a unique glamping experience. For the start of our 2021 season we have parked her on the edge of our apple orchard with views over the open fields, just a short walk from our toilets and shower. On the outside we've left Connie's many coats of paint intact - she's had an interesting past life and was possibly used on NATO missions. Inside you'll find a custom-built interior with a double bed, kitchen and seating, and a stove to keep you toasty and warm. Guests arriving by car may park next to Connie (or close by if the ground is too wet). Our glamping units are a short walk from the farm house and we will normally be on site. Once we've checked you in, we might need to pop back over e.g. to deliver firewood. Otherwise we try to leave our guests to enjoy their stay. We live in open countryside overlooking the Aylesbury Vale, and a short drive from two large towns. Two country pubs and a restaurant are within walking distance, as is a 400-acre forest with trails for walking and mountain bikes. Two neighbouring properties are a golf course, and a fishery that also has an indoor shooting range. The nearest train stations are Leighton Buzzard or Milton Keynes - about 30 minutes journey time from London Euston. There are plenty of walking routes along the Grand Union Canal which is about 15 minutes away by foot. Bedding is provided but guests must bring their own towels.
