Situated in a beautiful part of Somerset this delightful 400 year old barn sits in front of the owner's home at the end of a long driveway where a warm welcome awaits but privacy is assured. A fantastic quiet retreat, with far reaching views within an easy drive to the nearby county town of Taunton. The accommodation comprises of TWO bedrooms: 1 large double and 1 twin, both having exposed beams and country views. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Separate downstairs WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan with TV/DVD and cd player/radio. Kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with ice compartment and small breakfast bar with stools. Dining area has french doors that open up onto a large patio with lawn area in front. Utility: with washing machine and boiler. Outside: open-plan lawn and gravel areas. Amenities: ample parking. We accept bookings for a minimum of 7 nights. Our change-over day is Saturday. The cottage has an Iron/Ironing board, Vacuum cleaner and clothes airer. High Chair and cot available on request. Within an easy drive to the nearby county town of Taunton. There are beaches at Weston-Super-Mare, Burnham and Brean. There arke many National Trust properties and RSPB reserves in the area. Other attractions include Longleat, The Fleet Air Arm Museum and Cheddar Gorge, to name a few. The cities of Wells and Bath and the towns of Glastonbury and Street all provide interesting days out, with the Quantock Hills and Exmoor providing opportunities to view wildlife and enjoy beautiful scenery.
