The Stables at Yew Tree Cottage is a beautiful new conversion of an old Cheshire stables, fresh and full of light, with spectacular views of open countryside and sunsets. "A well renovated space where modern meets classic. The open plan downstairs is a great space that flows out onto the garden that overlooks fields and trees. " The owner's Chris and Sue follow Airbnb's enhanced cleaning protocol. We have recently converted The Stables, once part of the historic Tabley estate, into a charming cottage. Downstairs is a light, open-plan kitchen/dining/living space with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table and a seating area that opens up onto the patio and garden. Upstairs there are two comfortable double bedrooms (one of which can be converted into a twin) with en suite bathrooms. We provide all bedding and towels. The Stables sits in beautiful countryside so is quiet and secluded, but with quick and easy access to the M6 motorway (junction 19) as well as the beautiful market town of Knutsford, home to National Trust property Tatton Park and many shows and events throughout the year. The Jodrell Bank Observatory, home to the third largest telescope in the world, is very close by. Manchester Airport is 11 miles / 18km away. The property used to be the stables on the Tabley Estate. We will give you details on how to check in and find The Stables closer to your stay with us. Guests will be able to access the entire property except a couple of cupboards used to store fresh linen etc. Our home is just next door, so we are close by but give our guests space to enjoy their time at the property. The immediate surrounding area is primarily farmland, so is ideal if you are looking for peace, seclusion and beautiful sunsets. There is a beautiful one-hour walk starting from the property's garden. Nearby Knutsford (a five-minute drive/30-minute walk) offers shops and supermarkets, restaurants, bars and Tatton Park, home to one of the most beautiful stately homes in the north. We are less than one mile from the M6 (junction 19). The easiest way to get around is by car or taxi - off-road parking is available directly outside the property. Entering and exiting the property from A556 can be tricky - we will advise guests on the best solution to this closer to their stay with us . No pets please. No smoking in the premises please.
