The Annexe Ashgrove Cottage Pipehouse Bath BA2 7UJ

A peaceful cottage for independent living, light, airy and in the country with plenty of secure parking. Pipehouse is a pretty hamlet and is ideally placed to discover Bath, the Cotswolds, Oxford, Longleat, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Stourhead, the Jurassic Coast, Wells and Cheddar. My husband is a qualified instructor and offers clay pigeon shooting. There is a 2 night minimum requirement at weekends (ie: Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday) between 1st May and 2nd January each year. I provide a starter pack for your breakfast which includes:- Milk, cereals, eggs, bread, butter, homemade marmalade and jam, fresh coffee, tea, sugar. The Annexe is a stand alone cottage so you can access all the space. We live next door and so are available to give help or advice and welcome questions. Pipehouse is a quiet rural hamlet approximately 10/15 minutes from central Bath. It is a great quiet base from which to enjoy everything the region has to offer. There are lovely pastoral views from the Annexe over fields which (usually!) have sheep in them. Public transport is not good from Pipehouse and the most flexible option will be your car. There is a very efficient Park and Ride system, approximately 10 minutes drive from Pipehouse.. The station at Freshford is approximately one mile away and there is a regular service to and from Bath. There is no bus service at weekends. Clay pigeon shooting is available, payable at the time of your stay, with a fully qualified and insured coach and all essential equipment can be provided. There is a very good pub a short walk away.
